Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA)

Duration: 1 year (2 semesters).

Eligibility: Any bachelor’s degree

Computer science is one of the most rapidly growing areas of knowledge and applications today. Computer literacy has become essential for all aspects of work and study. This course will prepare students for challenging careers as professionals in the public and private sectors, working as software professionals or systems or database administrators. Students can go on to specialize in system programming.

About the course
The students will be learning the basics of information technology, understand various components of a computer system. They will also learn various programming languages which are in demand in the market currently starting with the basics of programming which are programming concepts, C programming and Visual Basic. They will also learn how to manage data through Database Management System. They will learn E-commerce, HTML and also acquire the skill of systems design by learning System Analysis & Design.
